Stair towers and site stairs in Linnich
Every building site needs a way up that holds every morning. We supply stair towers, site stairs and escape stairs, put them up to measure and release the access only once it has been checked.
Tell us the height, the location and the dates.

The way up sets the rhythm of the site
Ladders cost time, strength and concentration. A stair tower carries people, tools and material to every level without anyone needing a free hand. Where it stands, trades work alongside each other instead of one after another.
- 01 Safe to walk
A continuous flight, handrails on both sides and intermediate landings. The access stays usable in wet weather.
- 02 Built for material
Width and landings are chosen so tools, buckets and containers go up without being set down again.
- 03 Grows with the build
Levels are added as soon as the next lift is in place. The tower stays the same route across the whole shell.
- 04 Checked before release
Before release we go over the base, the ties, the decks and the guardrails. Only then does the access go into use.
Systems for a safe way up
Stair tower systems and escape stairs are part of what Anton Muckel Gerüstbau GmbH does itself. Around them sits the scaffolding a tower is connected to.
-
01 Stair tower systems
A free standing or tied tower with a continuous flight, landings and guardrails. The usual way up on a shell.
-
02 Escape stairs
A second escape route for phases, refurbishments and events while the permanent staircase is not available.
-
03 Stairs inside the scaffold
Flights within the facade scaffold where there is no room in front of the building for a tower of its own.
-
04 Facade and room scaffolds
Working scaffolds for new build, refurbishment and interior work, with the access connected straight to them.
-
05 Special structures
Roofing over, stage building, suspended scaffolds and heavy duty scaffolds where no standard bay will do.
-
06 Plant and transport
Hoists with and without passenger transport, telehandlers with attachments and lorries with a loading crane.

None of these quite fits? Describe the spot and we will come and look at it.
Ask about a systemWhat a stair tower depends on
A tower is only as good as its ground, its ties and its decking. We settle those points before the build, not after it.
- Base
- Ground that carries the load, spreader plates, levelled base jacks
- Ties
- Tied to the structure, or braced as a free standing system
- Steps and landings
- A continuous flight, intermediate landings, slip resistant decking
- Guardrails
- Handrail, knee rail and toe board on every level
- Entry
- Lockable on request where the site lies open
- Inspection
- Visual check before release and after every alteration
After a storm, a frost or an impact, the system belongs checked again before anyone steps on it. Tell us and we will come out.
Awkward spot, narrow pavement, difficult ground? Call before you plan.
Request a call backFrom enquiry to dismantling
Six steps that run the same way on every system, so you know early who does what and when.
- 01
Enquiry
You tell us the height, the location and the dates. A photograph of the spot is enough to start.
- 02
Survey
We look at the spot, check the ground and the tie points and set out the levels.
- 03
Offer
You receive a breakdown covering erection, hire period and dismantling.
- 04
Erection
The tower is put up, tied, decked out and closed with guardrails.
- 05
Release
After the check the access goes into use. Alterations to the system stay in our hands.
- 06
Dismantling
On the agreed date we take it down and clear the standing area.
Circular scaffold on a tower windmill
Six photographs from one of our own sites. The building is a round brick tower and the scaffold follows the curve level by level. No stair tower appears in these frames; they show how we order access and decking on a difficult plan.
Tell us where the tower should stand
Height, location and dates are enough for a first call back. Describe the spot in a few sentences and we will settle the rest by phone or on site.

What people ask before enquiring
It depends on the height, the hire period, the ground and the connection. We name a price once we have seen the spot or had it described well enough. A figure on a website would be a guess.
That depends on free capacity and on the state of the standing area. Call with the date you want and we will say yes or no.
Yes. The system is put up for the agreed period and dismantled afterwards. We also hire out hoists with and without passenger transport.
It can be built as a second escape route. Escape stairs are part of what we do. Which requirements apply to your project is something we settle with your site management.
Alterations to a system we erected belong in our hands. Report damage or a change you need and we will come out and release the access again.
Yes. The yard is in Linnich and we reach sites across the Düren district and the neighbouring districts.
